OpenAppMkt is a just-launched, open alternative to Apple's "curated" App Store, gathering the best web-apps into one place.

One constant criticism of Apple is the fact that its App Store is too rigid and capricious, keeping out too many apps. Steve Jobs dismissed this critique at the iPhone 4 unveiling, saying Apple approves 95% of the apps it sees within 7 days. To further suppress criticism, he also noted Apple supports HTML5, "a fully open, uncontrolled platform."
Source: SFGate

There are a number of ways in which spam indexing is done. Spamming of any kind like keyword stuffing, hiding links, cloaking etc is generally termed as spam indexing. Spam Indexing is also referred as "Spamdexing"

In other words:

Any search engine marketing method that a search engine deems to be detrimental to its efforts to deliver relevant, quality search results. Some search engines have written guidelines about what they consider to be spamming, but ultimately any activity a particular search engine deems harmful may be considered spam, whether or not there are published guidelines against it. Examples of spam include the creation of nonsensical doorway pages designed to please search engine algorithms rather than human visitors, or a heavy repetition of search terms on a page to increase keyword density. Also referred to as spamdexing.

Regards!
PrintingHost.com

The British government's data-protection agency yesterday cleared Google of collecting "meaningful personal details" during the company's Street View wireless data breach earlier this year.
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) concluded Google's cars gathered only fragments and that this information could not be linked to identifiable individuals. In May, Google told Congress that, while its Street View cars collected publicly broadcast Wi-Fi network names and MAC addresses from Wi-Fi routers as the vehicles drove about taking photographs, they did not gather payload data and the information was collected by mistake.
Source: InformationWeek
