Search engines are all about finding the information you want right now, and the next step is to do that automatically – before you even think to conduct that search, Google chief executive Eric Schmidt said Tuesday.

One in three queries from mobile phones is now related to things or places in the user's immediate vicinity, Schmidt said. Google is working on getting closer to "what you really mean" for a particular search.
Source: PC Magazine

After nearly a month of rumors foreshadowing the deal, it's now official: Intel is buying Infineon's wireless unit for $1.4 billion in an all-cash transaction that will close in the first quarter of next year.

The reason that Intel is buying Infineon at this point in time is that the company's new 32nm mixed-signal SoC process will enable it to eventually put both the application and baseband blocks on the same chip. So, at some point, Intel will be able to offer what's essentially a complete smartphone on a chip—CPU, GPU, northbridge, I/O hub, analog DSP, and even RF signal processing. This level of integration will dramatically decrease the cost and power consumption of a smartphone or netbook, and will give Intel a huge edge over any competitor that can't match it.
Source: Arstechnica

Hello Friends,

There is not a single webpage in the top rankings that does not include their main keyword in their title tags. A web page may not use the keyword in their main body instead they use inbound links to rank well, but still in the title tag it is very critical to include it. There are several things to consider for title tag optimization:

1. Important keywords must appear in the title tag
2. Title tags should not exceed the length of 60 characters and must have only 7 to 10 words
3. It should be easily read by the web-surfer (user- friendly)
4. Stop words must be used sparingly and avoid dead weight words altogether if possible
5. Keywords must be as close together as possible (keyword proximity)
6. Put the keywords as close to the title tag's beginning as possible
7. Proper word order of the title tag must be maintained
8.Repeating the keyword in the title tag should be very limited
