The Google Blog posted yesterday an announcement that they have switched to personalized search results for users who are not signed into Google. These results are determined by the users behavior on a particular machine using cookies.

But the average Google user are just looking for what they want, and it's them that the personalisation is aimed at. The people who do random searching will know how to "defeat" the filters.

I don't agree with this new feature. I liked it more before. I can say this from both a webmaster and an user point of view. Or maybe I am not used to it at the moment.
A new user of a destined user has noting to do with all this as they are in search of things they want. I am sure that i will definitely not effect normal user as it is not under their consideration.
