Adobe to Launch Software Suite for $50 a Month
Adobe Systems is set to announce CS6 on Monday at an event in San Francisco. Creative Suite 6 includes Photoshop, Illustrator and other programs aimed at designers.
Unlike previous versions, which came shrink-wrapped in a box, Creative Suite 6 will be available on a monthly subscription basis as part of Adobe's Creative Cloud offering. Subscriptions will start at $50 a month for those who sign up for a year. Subscribers will be able to download programs such as Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator, store their work online and share files with others.
This will likely make the pricey software package more desirable to new customers who may not want to shell out thousands of dollars upfront.

Announced in July 2011, B2G aims to be an open rival to Google's Android.

Real World Cloud Computing
A host of press reports suggest that Google Inc. will next week launch a new product called Drive, a free "cloud storage" service that'll let you stash five gigabytes of data online, and access it anywhere through any Internet-connected device.
It’s welcome news, but a bit late. More than 50 million people worldwide already use a similar service called Dropbox. There are many more cloud storage offerings, too. SugarSync, Microsoft Corp.'s SkyDrive, and a new offering called Cubby, from Woburn-based LogMeIn Inc., to name only a few of the more appealing ones that I have tried.
